Sam Rockwell is reportedly in talks to play Tony Stark’s rival, Justin Hammer, a multi-billionaire arms dealer with villainous clientele.

Mickey Rourke is also allegedly in talks to play some version of Crimson Dynamo.

I know everyone has their panties in a knot for Rourke right now, with The Wrestler getting UH.mazing reviews. Don’t get me wrong; I championed for the guy to make a come back with Spun and Sin City, and I do think his recognition is well-deserved.

However, my heart belongs to Sam Rockwell. He’s one of the most dynamic and diverse actors working today, and I think the guy gets overlooked too often. In a way, I think being overlooked only adds to how great he is. It’s kind of like when you find a great band, and sure, they have thousands upon thousands of fans, but they aren’t mainstream.
